Choosing our charity was one that we felt should address an issue that is somehow relatable to real estate, yet could appeal to many of us in some other meaningful way. The Tunnels to Towers Foundation is one such organization that impacted us on many levels after the obvious real estate connection. Since the tragedy of 9/11 that changed the World, the T2T Foundation has been providing mortgage free homes to the families of our fallen heroes, whether Gold Star families or First Responders alike. They also focus on building specially adapted homes for veterans or first responders who have suffered catastrophic injuries requiring innumerable types of adaptations, which are all too often out of reach from those who may need them most. In addition to all of this, a large part of the T2T mission is trying to help eradicate Veteran homelessness.
